January 25, 2008 - Artini Event at Andiamo Restaurant, Novi, MI
Michelle was selected to be one of six artists to exhibit her artwork at the Andiamo Restaurant for the "Artini at the Dirty Martini" event. Tickets available at the door for $20, will include food, entertainment, art exhibit and a free martini; Event hours 5:30-9pm. Restaurant located at 42705 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375.

May 2007 – Artisans Gallery, Traverse City, MI to carry the Michelle Hinz Collection
Mid May marks the opening of a brand new store in Traverse City called Artisans Gallery owned by Paul Fetter. The Michelle Hinz Collection will be available for purchase through this retail store located at 833 S. Garfield Avenue. The gallery will also carry home décor items such as lamps, lighting, furniture, accessories, as well as glass, paintings, prints, ceramic pottery, and metal work. Be sure to stop by and check out this 2500 sq. ft. show room in the strip mall near the Mexican restaurant.
May 17, 2007 – 6th Annual Arbor Hospice Art Dash
Since the popular Arbor Hospice Art Dash was established in 2002, it has hosted five fundraising events with the proceeds going directly back into the community to expand Arbor Hospice and Home Cares’ end-of-life and grief support services for children, adolescents and adults throughout Western Wayne/Oakland counties. March 24, 2007 - PCCA "For the Love of Art" Fundraiser
Michelle donated the artwork titled, "Circles of Life" in an effort to raise money to support programs and services of the Paint Creek Center for the Arts.
April 27, 2007 – Downtown Rochester, Designhaus Gallery to Host Reception for Artist Michelle Hinz
Twice a year downtown Rochester hosts a gallery stroll open to the public to view and purchase artwork created by local artists. You are invited to stop by the Designhaus Gallery on Friday, April 27th from 6-9pm for a reception featuring artist, Michelle Hinz. The Healing Power of the Arts

"The Healing Power of the Arts" is an exhibit exploring the therapeutic
potential of the creative arts. This show exhibits the work of 26
artists who have experienced the power of art to bring about positive,
transformative healing in their lives. Michelle was selected to display

2006 Michigan Fine Arts Competition - Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center
|
Michelle was selected by juror, Jerry Berger, director of
Springfield Art Museum in Springfield Missouri, to participate
as one of 135 select artists in a very competitive competition.
This statewide competition showcases Michigan’s finest working
artists. With a long history dating back to the “handoff” by the
Detroit Institute of Arts, the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center
has produced this exhibition that supports Michigan’s own. Michelle
currently has her painting, titled, “Grey Willows – diptych” on
display at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center through April 7, 2006.
